REGULATORY ADVICE

We can provide support and / or advice on the most effective means of complying with the: Offshore Safety Case Regulations (2005) and also the onshore equivalent The Control of Major Accident Hazards [COMAH] and all the supporting Regulations such as PFEER / DCR etc. This support can take the form of direct involvement in compiling the Safety Case itself, (or COMAH Safety Report), managing specialist sub-contractors on your behalf or giving a road map as to how full compliance can be achieved to meet your specific time frame and budget.

There are a number of additional regulations whose overall compliance must be demonstrated when compiling Safety Cases. These are called “relevant statutory provisions “. A typical example is the requirement to comply with The Offshore Installations (Prevention of Fire and Explosion and Emergency Response) Regulations1995. [PFEER]. JCM can advise on the most effective means of ensuring that all these regulations are fully complied with during the initial Safety Case process.
